Alternative remedies for cancer prevention and treatment are very popular now days. Articles abound on everything from diet to yoga to meditation. Even the American Cancer Society has included a page on their site pertaining to alternative and complimentary medicine. Among their list of “helpful complementary approaches” are aromatherapy, and prayer and spiritual practices. Dr. Lorraine Day, MD  agrees that prayer is a very important part of recovery. She says, “You can’t improve on God”, meaning not only prayer, but eating what God provides for food, such as fresh fruits and vegetables, and juices of such. Rev. George Malkmus also says the diet from Genesis 1:29 is the one that cured him of his cancer. Fresh fruits and vegetables!

All authorities I have read will agree that the diet is one of the major factors in preventing and curing any disease. After all, you are what you eat! As for supplements, we have seen that among those recommended for cancer, the following are included: CoQ10-100 mg, Selenium, 200 mcg., garlic, melatonin, colloidal silver, and anti-oxidents. Building the immune system is the key! A healthy immune system will allow the body to heal itself. If you have already had chemotherapy or radiation, Algin is a product recommended by leading health professionals. Also needed are moderate exercise, plenty of rest, and lots of pure water. Dr. Day says we are chronically dehydrated! We need lots of water to maintain a healthy body. That is also what Dr. Terry Friedman says. He works with cancer patients, and uses essential oils, which he has gotten amazing results from.

He recommends frankincense, exodus and exodus II, (among other things) no animal products, and lots of pure water! The oils not only increase oxygen in the air and cells, they have the ability to increase anti-body and endorphin production. Frankincense has shown immune enhancing abilities. Remember, anything you do to build the immune system will help you. Start with a good colon cleanse. Eat foods as close to the way God created them as you can, get some form of mild exercise, a little sunshine, lots of rest and water, and talk to your health care professional about the right supplements for you. Oh, and don’t forget to say your prayers!
